Today, 30 April, is Queen's Day in The Netherlands. This was the birthday of the late Queen mother, but has been kept in honour of her. The normally staid and sedate Dutchies go Orange-crazy. Almost anything goes. Although, in all honesty, my preferred noisy nightlife is more likely to involve lions than disco. Don´t get me wrong, I love music and I love dancing (belly dancing), but not the noise that you get in clubs.
